Laura Houssain attended this May's Licensed Practitioner of NLP, with Dr Richard Bandler:
Until recently, NLP seemed to me just a way to manipulate people, close deals, and get women in bed. Fortunately, a friend convinced me that it was much more than that and I had to go and get Richard Bandler's training. I'm really passionate about helping people shift beliefs quickly and get what they want, so I registered for the training.
To be honest, listening to Richard Bandler felt like being hit by lightning and a truck at the same time. But it also felt strangely familiar. It turns out we share the same passion: focusing on what is possible and what works.
Now, I have discovered that NLP is actually a very effective set of tools. THe tools help you better communicate with yourself and others and get what you want in life. It's a way of understanding how you think: actually looking at the process and making new process. It helps accept differences and yet relate better with others. And as promised, it's a beautiful tool to help shift b eliefs super fast.
Only a few days after the training, I seem to instinctively build rapport with people in an almost magic way. I have had a 2 and a half hour peaceful conversation with my mother; I'm delighted. This hadn't happened for longer than I can remember. The best part is I'm not even trying or making any effort. I'm totally amazed. I also feel ten times more confident and excited to discover what else I can do.
I'm extremely grateful to my friend who took one hour of his time to convince me to go. And of course, I'm grateful to Richard Bandler, John and Kathleen La Valle, and all the team that made this training possible.
