James "Lloydie" Lloyd

James

James Lloyd (better known to most as Lloydie) has worked in the media for 16 years as a radio presenter, producer and programme controller.  He became interested in NLP when he had a performance coach helping him with his radio work.

After interviewing Paul McKenna for one of his radio shows and asking him about NLP, Lloydie ended up taking a Practitioner course.  After two years of using these skills and noticing the difference in his work he decided to take a Master Practitioner and a Trainer course.  Lloydie's specific areas of interest are using NLP in the creative industries and the art of persuasion.  He has worked to help broadcasters, public speakers and politicians improve their communication skills. In his spare time Lloydie performs as part of MissImp, Nottingham's improvised comedy troupe, and in 2010 he trained in improv comedy in New York at the highly regarded Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre.
