Here's Jane Mallin's reaction to this May's Licensed Practitioner of NLP, with Dr Richard Bandler:
I was one of the lucky people to attend the NLP Practitioner course last week.
As a result of the course, there's been a seismic shift for me. There are lots of little signs so far - I'm more confident, more determined. I'm even talking and walking differently! The best illustration I have so far is around an issue I had with creative writing. I've been *trying* to write a novel for years. I know I can write, I know I have good ideas - this was not the problem. My difficulty was with coming up with the plot and getting overwhelmed by the whole complex process.
Well, today is Friday, a week after the NLP Prac course and I've just finished the plot of my new book. I'm really excited about getting on with writing it :-)
I'll give another example of how the course helped me. I have a chronic disease of the immune system which means I suffer a lot of pain and fatigue. NLP has given me new ways to cope with the pain so that I'm not taking anywhere near as many painkillers as I was. All my friends are amazed that I made it through the course without getting sick or exhausted. All I can say is that there's nothing like being 100% engaged in what you're doing to distract your mind from physical conditions.
